The Cappelletti Omaha Point-Count System
To evaluate the strength of a Omaha starting hand you can use a point count system. One of the best systems is the Cappelletti Omaha Point-Count System. This system assigns a certain number of points to each of the six two-card combinations. The points assigned to each combination are added together. If the total equals eleven or more, calling is recommended. If the total exceeds sixteen, raising is recommended. However, as always, this is subject to the game and your position.
